Gentlemen,

I need to know what the best rebuild kit is if i were looking to get between 600-700 HP out of my 96 250.. what is the best and where can i find it?

Buy a BTS or a John Wood. I dont think they offer a "kit" though. If you dont mind my asking whats your plan to get 6 -700 hp?

I have a 33' fifth wheel that i tow on occasion but mainly i am going for speed... the trans in it now needs to be rebuilt so i would rather put the money into a good trans now while i am upgrading everything else.

i am very new to the diesel world.. but i do have a few bucks to put into it, next question... if i get a trans that will live up too 700 HP how will it drive with the stock engine? i will be driving on that trans for about 2 months before i get the motor rebuilt and upgraded. will it drive ok?
