my trans wouldn't shift today into od and im wondering if its the weahter or something can any one give some input

check your brake lights are working. One not working can cause this i think

Are you sure its just the fact of the torque converter not locking? If the engine oil is below X degrees the TC will not lock.

Actually the tot= trans oil temp sensor has to see a certain temp before lockup will occur. How long did you drive it without (od) not working.

it just started happening two days ago when it started to get really cold here at college and i really dont have any money for a new trans but i know it could be like you guys said its cold but i plug my truck in and i let it wram up too so idk.
