After new master and slave still doesn't shift
I put in a new master, slave, and new bushing and the clutch still doesn't disengage enough to get it into and out of gear without a lot of grinding. Bled the heck out of the line too.
Is the only adjustment to remove the small pitman like arm on the clutch pedal and move it forward a couple teeth to get more travel out of the master cylinder? I also removed teh inspection/splash guard below clutch and no teeth or parts laying down there. Any ideas are appreciated. Note, this is on a 96 with a 4wd ZF5 Thanks, Jamie |

Sounds like you may have a cracked fire wall letting the master flax away from the peddle. Took me forever to find it on a 94 I had, have someone work the peddle as you look. I made a reinforcing plate for mine and then found a kit to fix it someplace so there is a kit out there.
