Exclamation no drive

i have 1996 7.3 with a 4eod. i have no drive but can shift it up with the gear shift. replaced the shift solinode pack in the trans and still same problem. have no idea whats wrong with it and there is no codes.

If it won’t drive what do you mean you can shift it?

Do you mean when you put the shifter in drive it won't go but you can put it in "1" it will? If so it could be the switch where the linkage goes into the trans called the shifter position sensor.

ya it wont drive in drive but in first it will go. ill try to replace the switch today

The valve body is probably gummed up or has bad seals. Can you shift it manually through the gears into third? If so does it then shift into OD?
