need some help with this f****n e4od

ok so i just got this reman trans. ive had it in for a couple days so i drove it today about 100 miles. when i got home i decided to put a temp gun on it and it read like anywhere from 210 to 245f. this cant be rite. i cheched the cooler lines out line was like 160 or so and in line was like 201. what the hell is the deal. this cant be right fluid level looks good. i duno is it the temp gun someone help...

You might have a partially plugged return line from the radiator which would be a fluid restriction which would cause elevated temps in your trans.

97 F-350 XLT CCLB 4X4,PSD

Ok I thought that could be it. Anyone know what the spec is on pulling the return line and see how long it takes to fill bottle. Any more ideas guys. Thanks.
