Is this a bad Torque Converter?
Hello, I have a 97 F450 7.3 and I'm getting a buzzing , wheezing type sound from the trans. It does it at low RPMs when there isn't much pressure on the trans, decellerating and when lightly accellerating. The noise doesn't faded in and out but starts and stops instantly leading me to think converter. When you turn the engine off the sound winds down to a stop with the engine. I'm also getting a flashing OD light and hard shifting but I can disconnect the batterys and it shifts great until I get on it hard then the light flashs again. I wondering if a converter or a pump might fix it without a rebuild, the truck only has 63k miles Thanks for any help.
