tail shaft replacement gone bad

So yesterday i decide I'm going to replace my cracked tailshaft with my new used one. Removed everything to get to the tailshaft including the driveshafts, transfer case, crossmember, and all the bolts holding the tailshaft on. So after about 1/2 hour of fighting the tailshaft it finally pops free with all the transmission gears connected to it I need help putting this back together. Should I just drop the tranny and take it to a transmission shop? The tranny is a ZF5 speed by the way.

I would take it to a shop and have them do it but maybe call them and they might be able to do it with the tranny still in but Idk wish I could help.
