e4od problems
ok so here goes i have a 1996 f250 when i bought it it had a bad converter in it. so my dad and i tore it down put a new converter in it and cleaned the valve body up everything else looked good. so first time ive really had it one the rode i drove it on the interstate to indy. drove up there going 70 no problems at all. on the way back it started making noises(sounded like a bearing going bad or something). it also shook a little too and the when i got it home i could tell the trans was hot...so my questions are what does your guys trucks run at rpm wise at 70 mph(mine was like 2200) and anyone got any advice about this problem.... thanks

Really I'm not sure but ur probably right on the 4.10s I'm just making sure i don't have od problms. I can't figure out why I have these problems all the sudden it went like 40 miles fine then halfway back it started...

ok so if it is flashing now, the next thing to do is get a scanner that can read trannys. if it is still drivable, i would go to a transmission shop and get it scanned and tested. then post the codes that they find.
