Tranny upgrades?
So i bought my 95 f350 6 months ago and the guy i bought it from put a brand new tranny in it a month before i bought it, i am thinking about doing some decent engine upgrades and was wondering whats the best way to save my tranny from blowing up. Ive heard these trannys are pretty bad and cant handle much more power over stock and i dont wanna have to buy a new tranny to replace the brand new one thats in it haha.

A good start is a valve body upgrade and a bigger better cooler!

would it be worth it to buy a tranny cooler that comes with an electric fan on it?

If you can find out if the guy put in a beefer converter, or just stock. Converter failure, is as common as transmission failure.

Its wasted money unless its a deal you cant pass up. 6.0 cooler is all you will ever need! |

if i upgrade the valve body and cooler do you think the tranny will stand up to stage 1 injectors, diy intake, 3inch exhaust and a tw chip?

I would do a converter upgrade and valve body if your doing stage 1s, my stock reman held up with stage 1s but I didnt get on it a lot and now it is almost toast with all the mods I have now
