Whats your engine temp when this happens? Any check engine lights? Oil in the ICP sensor? I have an auto and a lazy injector so when it's cold it sounds horrible under any load or acceleration but as it warms up its alot better. Hope I can help narrow it down for ya.

I may be wrong but i've heard that could be a HPOP issue.

I don't but see what the difference is between cold and warm. Someone might chime in with the right pressures.
