Jet sound when cold

I have a 96 f250 7.3 , just recently bought it about 2 months ago, when it's cold, it sounds like air is being pushed out from the exaust and than goes away after a few secound somtimes a min or 2 , than after letting the truck warm up for about 10min , as I drive down the rode it starts to do it again untill I give it more throttle , somtimes it goes away , other times it comes back once I let off. I read about it being the ebpv and when it's cold it comes on to try and heat up the truck. I was woundering if there is a way you can delete it or get rid of it because it's pretty annoying at times and somtimes stays on for a bit and with a 5 inch exaust with no cats or mufflers it's pretty loud

its normal.. its your EBPV valve. it helps warm up the truck. you can just disconnect the power from it while its open.
