new* truck BAD MOTOR! help

hey all! first thing this is my 4th ford truck but first diesel so im completely new to diesels so i dont know much about them and would love some advice!

1995 f250 ext. cab 4x4 7.3l powerstroke turbo non-intercooled 145k

so i just bought the truck tonight knowing it probably needs a engine swap but first have some questions....

so the story goes he was pulling a jeep that was stuck out of the woods hit the edge of a mud puddle and sucked water. the truck started bogging and when he got to a light on the road the truck shut off got it started after it sitting a few minutes and it was missing under 1800 rpms. so after testing wiring and replacing glow plugs and swapping injectors around (to try to make the misfire move) he narrowed it down to cylinder no. 5 did a copmpresion check came back 375 on all but 5 came back 275 (i have not verified any of this yet just what the PO said) mud covered everything does verify his story... truck has sat from 2011

thoughts comments questions concerns?
