96 won't start

Went elk hunting Thanksgiving Day returned a week later and truck would not start. No WTS lamp, replaced flow plug relay and nothing. No white smoke so I assumed fuel pump and replaced. Nothing, tach bounces while cranking so I ruled out CPS, or should I still replace? Wants to start off ether but never lights off. Again no white smoke while cranking...am I missing something simple or could it be HPOP? WTS lamp still does not come on either. Frustration has set in a week ago
