Angry HELP valve cover wiring

wondering if anyone had a diagram for wiring on new pigtails for uvch. pics would be great. jut did mine and something must be wrong cuz it wont start. what is the purpose of the metal wire that wraps around all the electrical wires going to the connectors? truck was running but only on 4 cylinders(i unplugged both connectors on drivers side and it didnt change at all running wise) im in deep here and would really appreciate a hand. if anyone is around the des moines area maybe could come out and take a look and point me in right direction

could someone check there uvch plugs and give me a dummy description like passenger side back plug from front to rear brown, yellow,orange... many thanks

The bare wire wrapped around the bundle is to get rid of electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues (so leave it there). Let me look for an old post somewhere on the forums I'm on. As a general rule, your best bet is to do it one wire at a time. Cheers!

Looking at the plug pin end with the retainer clip at the top: the pins are E, D, C, B, A; left to right.

Connector#1057 injector #2 and 4
E=110 Brown glow plug cylinder #2
D=556 White Fuel injector cylinder #2
C=878 Pink/Yellow Fuel injection High side left
B=558 Brown/Lt.Blue Fuel injector cylinder#4
A=110 Brown Glow plug cylinder #4

Connector #1058 injector #6 and 8
E=110 Brown glow plug cylinder #6
D=560 Lt.Grey/Orange Fuel injector cylinder#6
C=878 Pink/yellow Fuel injection High side left
B=562 Lt. Blue Fuel injector cylinder#8
A=110 Brown Glow plug cylinder #8

Connector #1059 injector #1 and 3
E=110 Brown Glow plug cylinder #3
D=557 Brown/Yellow Fuel injector cylinder #3
C=1087 Orange Fuel injection high side right
B=555 Tan Fuel injector cylinder #1
A=110 Brown Glow plug cylinder #1

Connector #1060 injector #5 and 7
E=110 Brown Glow plug cylinder #7
D=561 Tan/Red Fuel injector cylinder #7
C=1087 Orange Fuel injection high side Right
B=559 Tan/Black Fuel injector cylinder #5
A=110 Brown Glow plug cylinder #5
