1995 7.3 Accelerator parts, official names?

I was wondering if any of these 2 parts may have also been called the throttle position sensor? Ford is saying they cannot find the throttle position sensor part for my 1995 7.3, so I was wondering if it may be called something else, possibly is the throttle position sensor actually one of these 2 parts? If anyone has any information, it would help a lot & thank you.

1. idle validation switch (maintains idle speed)
2. accelerator pedal position sensor (operates in a manner similar to a throttle position sensor)

You want #2. The idle validation switch is just a switch that's activated when the peddal is out. The position sensor detects the actual range of movement of the pedal.

The TPS (Ford might call it the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) for the OBS trucks that is available in the aftermarket is the Dorman 699-200. If you want factory, you have to buy the entire pedal assembly (F6TZ-9F836-AA). Cheers!

Once again Patrick you da Man! To the Op you might wanna look in a local auto wreckers yard. Thinking new via stealership you'll be needing serious dough..
