It runs finally, on to the next problem!

Thanks to everyone for the help diagnosing my no start issue. The 7.3 finally runs after 3 replaced injectors, and a new IPR....It still doesn't run beautifully. I have way too much oil in it, actually i have way too much water in the oil....I had just done an oil change and shortly after I had water in the oil again....Also, after idling for a while, the truck begins to get really hot. I've always shut it off before it got to the red zone, but its not staying in the middle like its supposed to. Does this sound like head gaskets or oil cooler? I keep reading oil cooler on the site but the recommendation was never preceded by a running hot issue.

Thanks for all y'all's help!

Is your oil cooler leaking oil?

You can pick up head gasket test kits pretty cheap.

Yeah it's leaking from womewhere in that area, in assuming it's the oil cooler. Would that cause it to overheat? What is a head gasket test kit?
