HPOP Issues?

I posted last week about my PS pump being loud and noisy (knocking and bearings) grinding. Well after that replacement, tensioner assembly and pulley I pulled the belt to see if I was chasing a ghost...and I was... The knock comes on when she reached operating temp and then it sounds like marbles in the sink disposal. Only at idle and on deceleration does not make noise under power. All fluids check out nothing else out of the ordinary. I was told on here HPOP or cam gear....how do I confirm, pumps are not real cheap. Thanks in advance guys

Do not continue to drive the truck. If the HPOP is in the process of blowing it could be contaminating the oil and you could ruin your injectors and possibly much more.

Hook a scanner up and test for codes
