Question Glow plug troubles

Decided to finally change glow plugs last night and as usual ran into problems... driver side got 3 in no problem but the 4th, the one closest to the front didnt break loose.. feels like it would strip before breaking loose... not the worst of my problems though. passenger side farthest back is ****ed.... the plug was off before we even touched it. thought it was kinda wierd... upon further inspection, the electrode was further into the head than any other gp... unscrewed it and electrode stayed in head. the threaded part of the gp looked bad like it got hot. it was a gold color... all motorcraft plugs the one that is stuck says BERU GERMANY. why would it pull into the head like that?? and should i try blowing it out?? its not broke off just lookes like it pulled in and was like that before we unscrewed it. and why would it get like that?? tried pulling with vise grips. doesnt seem to move up or down but wiggles side to side with ease. please help any info would be very much appreciated. thank you
