Cps

My truck has developed rough idle and lopes about every 6th start or so (depending on the day) truck throws cps code p0344. I figure it needs a cps but want a second opinion. is there a way to test the cps without throwing parts at it?

Most guys simply replace the sensor since they are cheap and if it doesn't solve the problem you have a spare for the glovebox. You would need to tap the signal and probably have access to an oscilloscope to test it. Make sure you take a look at the sensor connector and wiring too. Cheers!

I just had the same code and it was probably just grease in the connector. I changed it out anyway and now have a spare. Big Fuel had exposed and nasty wiring at the connector and soldered on a new connector. The sensor is around $35. I got the IH CPS.

I'd just get the ford cps, at least you know the quality is OK, unlike the others.
