Angry I did everything I could think of...AW f%$K IT....

I've checked everything I could think of on this thing and it still bucking and missing going down the road. Now I'm just going to take it to Malone Diesel in Dripping Springs, TX. All I've heard about them is good things, such as they can fix about anything and don't sell you what you don't need. Only one problem is I won't have my truck back till next week sometime. The shop is that busy. So I'll just have to wait and see what they find.

Jim

Truck fixed!! Very happy now!!

Just got my truck back from Malone Diesel and it runs better now than it did before the dam CPS went out. It turned out to be the CPS I bought from Oriley Auto Parts was bad out of the box!!!!!!!!!!! Going back tomorrow to get my money back. No more cheap parts for me OEM only for electrical parts. Malone only changed 203.00 to fix and check out the rest of the electrical system and scan the computer for any other problems. I am very happy with the work done and will be going back there for any more work that needs to be done.

Good thing it wasn't anything any worse than that. But from your first post, the CPS was the first thing that popped into my mind as well. And I agree with you about OEM parts...there are just some things that it's better to suck it up & pay OEM prices (speaking from experiences like yours).

Glad you got her back on the road! Well, sorta...I saw your woes with the 6-pos. chip as well.
