overheating 96OBS help needed

Hey guys!

My dads 96 is overheating.

We just did the oil cooler on it, fisrt time we shaved the seals and mixed the oil and water, so round two we got it. Got everything drained and flushed.

Now its overheating. Any ideas/common issues to check. Anything we needed to do like bleed the system after opening it?

Thanks! Its a bone stock truck, 2wd auto.

Make sure the thermostat's not upside down and that the fan clutch is working.
