Coolant leak...

So I just got my engine back in and all hooked up. Fired her up today. Seemed fine. Then went to put my exhaust tip on. Came back to front of the truck and coolant was dripping all over. It's not the oil cooler since I just rebuilt it and I can see its not coming from it. It's not the thermostat housing either. It's just coming from all around the water pump. So I'm guess I need a new one or can I just put a new gasket on. If I pull it off is there any way of checking if its bad

Im having same problem on my 03, i lose about a whole thing of coolant in about a day and its all coming from the water pump so im guessing its the front cover gasket, is that what you figured out yours was?

I'm an idiot. I was wrong. Was just tw thermostat housing. Put a new one on and a new gasket. No more leak.
