Another dumb turbo question

Ok, this was supposed to be a quick pedestal replacement and new prints and down pipe. Boy did that go south. Pulled out everything and now looks like I need the center section assembly that riffraff sells, or equivalent.

I'm kinda wondering how the center part cracks, and if my compressor wheel is still good. What would you guys do with this. I'm also considering purchasing another turbo from automotix. 1 year warranty. A buddy just bought a 5.3 from there to drop in his Chevy. I took video cause I thought it would be easier to show.

What would you guys do? Only future plan would stage one sticks one day. So not real enthused about an upgraded turbo. Thanks in advance

I would exchange it for a rebuilt turbo with 1.0 housing from Ron's turbo service in Salt Lake City.

Got another question on this turbo thing I've got going on. Will the quick spool housing have a negative effect on drive pressure? Or is that something I should even worry about?

The negative effect is so minimal that it is not worth worrying about unless you are building a pulling or race truck that will see constant max rpm's
