cooling system problems

in January my trucks cps shorted out after a hard run for 3-4 miles when looking at the motor i noticed coolant was all over the front of the motor. it looked like it was coming from the radiator cap and/or the overflow hose. within the next week or two my oil cooler started leaking. i have a 205* thermostat and a 13psi radiator cap ever since then after getting the truck pretty warm coolant has came out of the radiator. there is no oil in the coolant and no coolant in the oil. should i change to a lower degree thermostat? i have no clue why it is doing this. any help is appreciated thanks
