1997 7.3 Fuel pressure Switch???

It located on the side of the filter housing. Can someone tell me the correct name of this and where I can purchase one? Thanks to everyone in advance!!! I could find a part number or name on alldata.

Restricted fuel filter switch (Vacuum Switch) part# E8TZ-9S283-A,International #1809435c1. They often start leaking.

It's worthless take it out and put a 1/8" not plug in it

I don't think so - this is a very common "fix" you'll find recommended among PSD users because the switches are known to leak and most people never experience a plugged filter if they do regular maintenance.

You can prove it by disconnecting the switch you have (pull the wire).

Thx! I should have thought to unplug it. I bought the switch from IHC today for 35 dollars. Thanks for all the help!
