Oil pan gasket and rebuild questions!
Soo I noticed my oil pan gasket was pissing from the back so im pulling the engine out to fix it and do some other maintenance. I just did a fresh oil change. Drove it for one day. When I noticed it leaking from the pan it was still clear. It's been sitting in the shop for a week and now I just drained it and its black. Still thick though. Could it of just been from sitting in the pan. There's probably **** in there since the gaskets ****ed.
Truck also burns oil. It was quite a bit just before I took it out but I'm thinking most of it was actually just leaking out the pan. I burns blue smoke out the exhaust a bit when she's cold. But then clears up when it's warm. Also someone else mentioned blow by. I don't think I have any excessive blow by but what causes this and how would you go about fixing it. While the engines out I'm going to do Oil pan gasket Oil cooler rebuild Ww2 and all turbo gaskets Maybe up pipes What else should I do while its out I would like to send my Injectors in for a rebuild to 160cc so hopefully I can make that happen Sent from AutoGuide.com App |
