rough idle and stalls

Hi all. Thanks for readinga nd any help is appreciated. I have a 95 F250 PSD. She runs sweet when I put the gas peddle down but idles rough and unevenly; and she will stall when waiting at a light (but fires right back up). Even after she is warmed up. I replaced the fuel filter but the old oune did not appear bad and the new one has not changed her behavior. I also add a octane boost and anti gel to the diesel. Any advice as to where I should look next would be appreciated.

I've never heard of anyone adding "octane" boost to their diesel fuel.

Re: rough idle and stalls

Could be fuel pressure, icp/ipr issue in the high pressure oil system, possibly low pressure oil system, and other things.

I made my Samsung SGH-I997 send this.

Replace the CPS ,known for this type of erratic behavior .

I might be misunderstanding something. This is the stuff I add.

Diesel Kleen Plus Cetane Boost cleans dirty injectors and is effective in bio diesel blends. It boosts your available power and increases your miles per gallon up to eight percent.

Cetane is for diesel.
Octane is gas.

rough idle and stalls

Have you looked in fuel bowl lately? Buddies looked like this and had same symptoms. Cleaned it up good and it runs fine now. rough idle and stalls-imageuploadedbyag-free1361030168.367337.jpg

I replaced the CPS. But teh truck still idles rough.

I changed the CPS but that did not fix everything. The truck now rarly dies while ideling. But the truck is still surging some times and when I coast down the fill the injectors stop firing. Some times while in idle at a stop light in stead of hearin the rythim of the engine the engine sounds random. I an thinking that something in teh fuelsystem is restricting flow. I hope the IP is not going bad.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I think your IPR might be on it's way out. My truck used to surge and buck and idle was all off. New IPR problem solved... But now my truck is having seizures... literally.. It's driving me insane. But that's a different topic.
