95 powerstroke running out of fuel after bowl rebiuld

so the truck was running fine but had a bad fuel leak so i removed the bowl replace all the blue hoses and orings and put it back together and it starts and idles fine and has good power till you put a load on it up a hill and after a few seconds of heavey load it starts to loose power like its running outa fuel, if i take it outa gear and let it idle for 10 seconds then it will run fine agian for a few seconds and then run outa fuel again, where should i start what could i have done while rebiulding the bowl to cause this

Maybe check the condition of the Fuel Pressure Regulator spring to make sure that it is not kinked or broken. Also check to make sure the FPR piston and bore are not scored causing it to hang open. I would also suggest measuring the fuel pressure at the shrader valve on the FPR. Cheers!
