Randomly stalls out

I've got a 1995 F-350 cclb that i recently changed the glow plugs and relay out on so at least it starts now. My biggest problem now is that it randomly stalls. Doesn't seem to have any rhime or reason to it either, but it only does it while it's moving. It will do it on flat ground, up hills and down, with or without cruise control on. After I pull off the road I've got to cut the key off and let it sit for at leasat 15 seconds, wait for the glow plugs again and then it will start right back up. When it stalls there are no symptoms - it just dies. In addition to that, a lot of the time when I take my foot off the accelerator it sounds like it's being a little starved of fuel and kind of sputters but doesn't die and after a couple of seconds it runs fine again. Ideas anyone?

First thing CPS ,replace it ,When they fail it's almost always random as you describe and ain't no fun when they act up .
Secondly I would peek in the fuel bowl and check the heater element ,they're prone to break loose from the soldered joints and short out causing the IDM to cut out
