ICP Sensor advice needed

I ve got a 97 F350 PSD, automatic crewcab dually, 315k miles.
Ive recently begun experiencing hard starts, then on occasion a violent miss along
With CEL light on. Sometimes it will smooth out, sometimes is can be restarted and be better, sometimes it wont. Put a new CPS sensor a few months back, been driven less than 25 miles since, no issues since replaced. Pulled the DTC codes tonight, its throwing the CPS code and ICP sensor code, will a bad ICP sensor cause a faulty CPS reading?
Is there anyway to test the ICP SENSOR or is it just best to replace it? Ive seen several threads regarding unplugging the ICP sensor and driving it, will it idle better if the ICP sensor is bad? Where is the best place to get one?

Im no expert had my truck for like 7 years so whatever knowledge I have accumulated. Our trucks are getting old my truck is starting to be the same way
"ish" a hard start for my truck is not hard at all but my truck was just put together that well I think from the factory but its still not right. It has a miss and stuff like your talking about. I have heard about a down icp defaulting at 725 psi so its worth a shot. And as to wear I would get one I bought to cps's and the one I got discount was junk replace it in two weeks so honestly motorcraft or international there more expensive but productions tolerances are more than likely tighter.

I couldnt have said it better myself.
