injector problem?

Hi all, I have a 97 7.3, while driving today my truck all of a sudden developed a vibration while accelerating and decelerating. Did not really lose power but when you rev the motor in neutral It has a little white smoke. May be injectors? Any other Ideas? Has 218,000 miles on it. Thanks

I also have a 97 7.3 and I had a similar vibration but only when pulling a loaded trailer. No noise at idle and no white smoke but a lot vibration in accelaretion and deceleration. My problem was that the motor had slightly move backward and something (may be the exhaust mafifold) was rubbing against the cab. Had to loosen mounts on motor and drive shaft and force motor forward. Problem was solved. Hope this helps.
