2003 7.3 fuel in coolant system

Hey everyone, new to the forum so bare with me.
I have a 03 with 170,000 miles, started leaking fluid that smelled like deasel, could not find were it was coming from, noticed fuel in the coolant resivore.
Local Ford service said it was an injector cup is cracked and letting fuel into the coolant and there is more pressure on the coolant now and fuel is blowing out the coolant cap. The truck runs good and seams to of not lost any power. I am no diesil mechanic by no means, i'll change the oil and filters and belt but thats about it. Has anyone have this to happen and or could something else cause the fuel to get into the coolant, any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Probably want to post this in the correct forum, but yes the tech is probably correct that you have a cracked injector cup. Definitely a not a cheap fix (to have someone do it) as it does require some special tools (a big tap and slide hammer to remove the old cup and a special installer to set the cup in the head). Check with Rosewood Diesel for the tools if you want to look at doing it yourself. Cheers!
