Replacing the "Wait to Start" Bulb How?

I think my "Wait to Start" light bulb is bad. I have a 1994 F250. How do you get to the bulb to change it?

Thanks,
Pete

You will need to pull the panel to get to the bulb. Remove the headlight switch knob from it's shaft, There's two plastic trim panels, one on each side of the steering column that need to be removed. Use a flat blade or plastic pry tool and pry off. That will reveal a few 7mm bolts to remove, then just pull on the gauge surround panel to access the wiring plugs on the back of your tank selector switch and "Wait to Start" panel. Unplug the harnesses and pull it out of the dash. The bulb itself sits inside of a small plastic socket that twists and locks onto the electrical board. A pair of small but long needle nose pliers works well to remove the socket. The bulb will pull straight out of the socket. While your in there I would change em' all
You can also remove the 7mm bolts that hold the light panel to the back of the trim panel, plug it back in to test for voltage to a particular bulb and make sure you are getting a signal. Please forgive me if they arent 7mm bolts. Good luck with it
