Drivers side manifold

ok guys, Im new to these trucks and am in need of some help.

I bought a 95' 7.3 ex cab long bed, auto, 2wd truck. i have put a ts tuner, 3' DP to 4" out exhaust, has no other mods except those. it has 225xxx...

the truck runs great, pulls good etc. the problem is the drivers side manifold is leaking.. im noticing getting worse and worse...

When I start building boost on hills/heavy acceleration/ pulling etc it has a loud "tick" noise to it.. Sounds Just like the manifold leak i had on my ranger. previous owner mentioned it but it wasn't hardly noticeable when i bought the truck. My fuel mileage SUCKS.. It does have the 4;10 gears but, im getting 12 highway..... Not what i was expecting at 70mph on cruise..

So, after all of that I found a spot where the manifold meets the "up-pipe/y-pipe" ?? and it is all nasty and broken bolts holding the two together.. I believe thats the source of my leak. How hard would it be to change the manifold and that pipe? Or can I just clean the pipe up with a small wire wheel and try to weld it all up? I can take pictures in the A.M if that would help.. I know Im annoyed and beyond ready to sell the truck....

It's not hard unless you have to deal with rust. I don't have to deal with rust and my driver's side manifold swap took two hours. It's well worth it to fix.

Rust is deff something the manifold has.. the truck is clean but the manifold is pretty crusty rusty
