Interminttent rough starting/running

First off the truck is a 1996 F250 ECLB, 5 speed, Intake, DP, BullyDog 3 stage, gauges. 197,000 mi. I have owned since August and has ran great until about a month ago.

It has developed a rough starting/running issue. The engine will struggle to start and once started will not reach full idle rpm and die. Once it actually keeps running it runs very rough and has low power and almost no throttle response. If kept running it will continue to run very poorly even after it should have had time to warm up.

The strange part is that It does not do this all of the time and usually if you just turn the truck off when it is running like this and turn it back on, it runs completely normal again. This makes me think the issue is a sensor/computer issue. It does not always do this when started cold has never happened after the truck has been plugged in.

I changed the CPS because I had one and the truck was fine for about a week. Then yesterday I went to start it and the issue was back. last night it was plugged in and today started and ran perfect.

It kind of seems like an injector issue but like I said earlier it is random and is sometimes fixed by simply restarting the truck.

Thanks in advance, Caleb
