Started, died, no start

1995 no mods

Truck was running fine, installed TS chip, bad connection burned up the TS and smoked the ECM.....got a new ECM today and put it in, truck fired right up and ran smooth for about 3 min and then died like someone shut the key off, tried to start again and would run for less than 5 seconds then die, did that a few times and then now it cranks and no fire.........did I burn up the IDM too? Tach moves while it cranks and the CPS is a month old so should be fine..................any ideas


update: tried new idm and cps today, now i get white smoke and tries to fire sometimes but still no start
