GLOW PLUGS
i just replaced my glow plugs for the first time in a 1994 f-250 with the powerstroke 7.3. i was shocked to find the ones in the truck did not match the ones i had recieved. I called several part store to verify numbers they all told my autolite 1108 glowplugs were correct. i believed them, DON'T believe them they are not the correct ones. they are idi glowplugs the proper glowplugs are autolite 1111. Just giving everyone a heads up, so they don't have to do the job twice. As i said i'm new to diesels so maybe most of you's already dealt with the issue.

Just becareful with autolites the tips are known to swell up and not come back out of the head. I would recommend using motor craft zd 11 glow plugs

I agree stay the heck away from autolites. I've dealt with them enough in other peoples engines that you couldn't give me a set. Go with these Riffraff Diesel: Motorcraft Glowplugs

Only use motorcraft plugs unless you want to deal with more problems later...
