Fuel pressure problem

I have a 95 that is having problems. It carries about 60psi when idling and light throttle. When I get on it it will drop to 20psi or even 0 one time. I took the regulator off and cleaned the screen in there and it didnt change anything. My gauge is a glo shift which I heard is not the greatest. It doesnt feel like it quits pulling as far as power and injectors dont get noisey. Any help would be great.

Make sure the regulator bore and spool are not scored (which may cause it to hang up). Also make sure that the spring is not kinked. If you can use a 0-100 liquid-filled gauge (with enough hose to get out to the windshield) to see if the pressure is really dropping like that, your pump may be bad on the high pressure side (I had that happen on my 94 ... would idle all day but die/stall under any load). Cheers!

Was going to do the hose with mechanical gauge and cracked the regulator housing. So now I am kinda dead in the water until I find another regulator.
