Fuel filter light on

I have a 95 obs with 277k, recently we resealed hpop and after we did that the "fuel filter" light came on, so I checked wiring and found it in bad shape I taped it and put it back in loom, I made sure it was connected properly, I then still changed fuel filter and light is still on, sometimes it will flicker and turn off then comes back on.
Truck runs fine no problems at all just light.
Truck also has abs and brake lights on, e-brake don't work.

Any ideas where to go next to find my problem?
