Elec. Gremlin Again - Wiring Harness?

Posted a while ago about my volt meter fluctuating in rhythm with the idling engine. Eventually got bad enough that it did it at all rpm's and the lights dimmed in unison. Suspected the voltage regulator and replaced the alternator. All was well until recently and it has started again. I had a buddy wiggle the connector to the regulator today and the fluctuating stopped! If it continues to function normally, I suspect the wiring in the connector is going bad.
Is there a source for just the harness with the two connectors that goes to the alternator or is it integral to the larger harness?
