97 hard lope?

I have a 97 Powerstroke, 305k miles, tranny has about 6k on it. Just bought it, got it home and tuned it with the edge programmer. Put it in tow, and it doesn't lope like it did. Its lopes at an idle, gets worse in drive and reverse, but after giving it gas it smooths out. Then comes back when I come to a stop. I read that it could be the icp sensor? Pcm? Tranny? I'm at a lost. What could it be? Could it be the injectors? Do they need cleaned or something more expensive? Lol

I used to Have a 95 auto and after I chiped it it loped more depending on which setting I had it on. If i had it on tow haul it did it a little and if I had it on hold on to your panties, it loped a lot. It has always been my understanding that it is totally normal.

Its not chipped, just programmed. Have the edge evolution programmer. But its turn to tow. But it got better after programming, it loped worse in stock.
