Unhappy CHAOTIC/RIDICULOUS ISSUE PLEASE HELP

ok.. if this is to long of a post i will appologize in advance.. im so frazzled with this freakn truck its killing me.. *(hence why i posted it for sale)* but i dont really wanna sell it.. anyway.. welcome to my world..... (below)

truck hasnt ran for 6 years.. so i need to be patient which i am.. or well was.. now.. not so much.. i changed a ridiculous amount of parts (pretty much whole top end) because once i got it to fired last week it ran (or stroked) like my 383 stroker..

new fuel system... yes.. complete new fuel system BUT the line off the pump going behind engine (ill get to that in a minute)

now i cant get engine to run on its own unless i do a KOER test or just hold my foot on the pedal.

stored codes: p1219 cylinder code.. (vc gaskets, injector harnesses, etc all changed)

cleared out the code.. did buzzer test.. SYSTEM PASS... great..
KOER TEST.. comes back failed for EBPV .. but even i thats bad.. truck wont run like it has bad injector right?>>>

after running truck and doing tests for 20 minutes.. look under truck.. im leaking fuel.. WTF!?.. those O rings on the fuel lines where they go behind the engine off the fuel pump are probably bad.. the one thing i didnt check.. GO figure... so that would be it or contribute.. if the injectors are getting propper (or well FULL) pressure right????

its been a hell of a week with this truck.. guys please help me out..

ohh yeah.. forgot to mention.. when i did the KOER test.. truck ran amazing!! while computer controled (but yes i know thats because it makes it run at steady idle..): dunno:

And you're positive the ecm in the truck is good? If it'll run with KOER which is an external control essentially bypassing the ecm, that's where I'd look next. Even with leaking fuel, it wont lope unless it's bad enough to drop the pressure. My truck ran for two years with a blown pump. Hope this helps.

with a blown what pump? fuel pump? it ran like what i would say was crap... when it was running under KOER testing.. i could make it do that with holding a steady idle by myself and have it run the same way.. i know i made it sound like it was a totaly different truck.. but after dealing with hearing engine run in different types of ways the past 2 weeks a controlled idle (for once) made me remember what a diesel engine was supposed to sound like HEALTHY.. hahah..

sorry for confusion

I am kinda leaning toward the ECM/IDM route myself.

Just a thought - if it runs with the KOER test, but not on its own, maybe it's the go-pedal -- position sensor and/or idle val switch.

sorry im new to the diesel version of mechanics.. go pedal? and idle val switch? what are those and where are they located?? sorry again.

UPDATE: contribution test (did it 3 seperate times today all came back fine except last time came back for oil sensor.. (i have great pressure, but i swapped it out anyway.. still comes back) changed the crank position sensor also.. just to add to the list of stuff i have changed.. and tale away from stuff i havent changed... EBPV sensor.. (to the right of the altenator), Tube for ebpv (which im sure will fix the no power problem) and actual ebpv.. which was wired up open that i took all that apart.. its not connected to the rod either.. other than those, and injector sensor on driver side left of fuel bowl.... ive replaced everything i could replace on this truck from COMPLETE fuel system (tank, sender, lines, hoses, pump, filter, new hoses for fuel bowl.. and no none leak)..

i did all of that for 2 reasons.. wanted to fix the problem (cant idle properly, or drive for that matter- and i want the truck 110% so i will never have an issue with her sooner than later)
