Did I Damage Pump?

The high pressure line blew out of the side of my power steering pump this morning. Had to drive it about 13 miles to get it home. Think I damaged the pump by driving it this far? Never made any unusual noises.
Thanks - Bill

Doubt you damaged it at all. I drove for at least 20 when mine blew to get t to a shop.

Thanks, that was what I was hoping. Now to track down a new line.

My son had to do the same with our truck. Replaced the line and I've had no issues since (it's been a few months now). Cheers!

A hydraulic shop could probably make one up cheaper.

Update

Got the AA hose yesterday, only because they had it in stock. Installed, ran and no leaks!

Glad it's fixed. These trucks are hard to steer without power steering.
