I have a 2000 excursion with the 7.3...it just developed a tap and local shop says its #4 wrist pin bearing..They say it can be fixed for the low price of 12k..
LOL ..I am not looking to spend that kind of money on the truck bec was planning on selling it in the first place..So now I am trying to figure what to ask for the truck with the bad wrist pin or do I fix it and take my chances ..I have found bone yard motors for 2000 that have the same mileage on them but I really just need to sell it now..truck is in great shape has a 10 inch lift with chromed suspension..116k miles ..I have it listed on craigslist here in Phx AZ but the listing was put up before the tap developed..PLEASE ..Take a look at the add and tell me what to ask for it AS IS ..Craigslist post number is 2903755617
