BB trick

I have been looking and searching on here for a couple of hours and I can’t find it. Can someone please tell me about the bb trick? I have a 97 CC 4X4 auto with 4:11s. I also have a 95 SC 4X4 auto with 4:11s. The 97 don’t seem to have half of the power the 95 does. I checked for exhaust leaks and see just a little soot on the up pipe connector. Hardly anything. The fuel pressure is 40 at idle and 25-30 at wot. The needle on the Fuel pressure gauge also fluctuates like crazy. I am going to replace the fuel pump this week and remove and reseal the fuel bowl and regulator. If someone can tell me about the bb trick before I take it all apart that would be great. Thanks.

There is a bb in the fp regulator and from what I understand it could mess up fuel pressure or something like that.

Are you talking about shimming the fpr? Repost this in either the General Discussion area or the Performance area... this part of the forum doesn't get much attention.
