Help, can't keep it running
Just put injectors and 17* pump on, ran great first 25 miles and now it throws the "injector control pressure above/below desired"and won't keep running when coming to a stop. I've replaced the ipr wiring and icp sensor...need fixed asap...any ideas?

May be a dumb question but is the truck tuned for the new hpop and injectors?

Stage 1 injectors and just a stock 17° pump...shouldn't need tuned, at least Jody said it didn't

Well i'm not gonna argue with a tuner!!! Lol
I didnt realize you could run bigger injectors and a different degree pump on a stock tune. |

Yeah, should just run like a stock tune...but mine won't

Any way to check hpo pressure?
was the pump any good??? |

That's what I'm afraid of, but I don't have any way to check it

Ok, im not the best guy to explain this cause im not sure but what do you need to plumb a guage into the hpop circuit? I dont know if you need an adapter or not to get to a 1/4 npt.
I bought a hydrolic pressure gauge that went to 5000 psi for about 50 bucks from a local hardware store. That is how i would check it, but i have never tried to plumb it in. Also, i work mids and am headed to bed man. Hope someone else can lend you better info! Me personally, i would try to verify the hpo pressure somehow before anything else. Later! |
