for a few weeks now my idm relay would click really fast and now the idm finally crapped out. could anything on the UVCH have cause it to go or was it just time for it to crap out? what im pretty much asking is should i change out the UVCH also when i do the new IDM?

If your UVCH(s) are bad, definitely change them (and the VC gasket(s)) out). Those shouldn't affect the IDM as they're on the output side. If the relay is clicking, have you had both batteries checked independent from one another (cables disconneted from both). Check all battery cable ends to make sure they are clean and tight. Cheers!
