Oil Consumption
Hey guys I have a problem, about 2 weeks I did a oil change and fuel filter change... today I went to check the oil level and it was at the add mark? I checked it last week and it was fine. I drive the truck everyday and do 100+ miles a day. In the morning I start the truck and let it run for 5-6 mins before I leave. I checked the fuel filter and theres no oil . I also did the blowby test with the cap and there was nothing cap just rattled off. What cold this be?

Assuming no external leaks, I would guess the injector o-rings or the turbo (o-rings are always my first guess). You may not really notice the change in the filter if it's not a huge usage amount yet and especially if the tanks are kept full. When my o-rings went (suddenly right after an oil change), I used 8 quarts in 150 miles and the engine quit! I drained the fuel from the bowl into a glass jar and you could not see the sun through it (fuel tank was about 1/4 full at the time). Cheers!

After you did the oil change did you drive it and check the level? Did you prefill the filter? Sometimes you gotta run the truck so oil can get back into all the little places and then top it off.
