Fuel Return Lines
Both of my fuel return lines (flexible lines connected to the fuel bowl regulator?) are pretty badly dry rotted and I want to replace them. Looking for part #'s (Ford or International). Or do you guy's just take them to a hydraulics shop and have them made up? Also, it looks like I will have to pull the A/C pump / vacuum mounts to get at the one fitting? Correct?
Thanks again for all the advice - Bill Last edited by helievacpilot; 03-21-2012 at 06:31 AM. |

They're the lines that come off of the fuel pressure regulator. They go to the front of each head.

i got some made at a local big rig dealer 13.xx a piece. took my old ones off, yes you need to remove the ac, ps, vacuum pump to get to it, and took them in and sat down and waited while they were made. If you leave everything ac, ps, vacuum pump, on the bracket it unbolts with 4, 1/2 in (i think) bolts slide the assembly towards the front of the truck and they should be plenty of room to get behind them. If i remember right ford wants 20 ish for one and 50ish for the other

Update
Thanks. After much searching I was able to track down the Ford part#'s. F4TZ9D308A & F4TZ9B273A. Your right on the money. $26 & $53. Unfortunately, Navistar no longer carries them, only Ford.
