i got a 97 extended cab long bed 4x4 and its cutting out pretty bad when you mash it to the floor, i just put a ts on an it seems worse with it on the truck has around 310,000 and i was told the motor was replaced an it had around 150,000 miles just changed fuel filter and oil, and it dosent seem to do it all the time, no check engine lights, thanks for any input
just a guess, go unplug the EBPV solinoid ( drivers side frt of turbo, oly 2 wire plug there ) see if it does the same. Just wondering if the sensor is bad, and its causing the ebpv to shut, killing the truck......
i just tried that and it seemed the same, the connector seems kinda loose or not not connecting really good, the truck reves up five in neutral and seeems fine when it shifts out of overdrive it seems the worse in first gear.
check for oil in icp, mine cut out randomly. fixed mine,
